Costa Vida was born from a simple dream: to bring the authentic taste of Mexico to Seattle. Our founders, Maria and Carlos Rodriguez, immigrated from Guadalajara with nothing but their grandmother's secret recipes and an unwavering passion for traditional Mexican cuisine.

2018

The Beginning

Maria and Carlos Rodriguez open the first Costa Vida location in a small space on Aurora Avenue, serving authentic family recipes to the Seattle community.

2019

Growing Recognition

Costa Vida receives "Best New Restaurant" award from Seattle Food & Wine magazine and builds a loyal following of customers who appreciate authentic Mexican cuisine.

2021

Expansion & Innovation
